Producer/Director

In our interpretation of the play, The Taming of the Shrew, Joyce Chew's roles were both Producer and Director, among other things (basically, she was active in every role besides Historian and Blogger). As both the Producer and Director, Joyce was in charge of writing the script, editing all of the footage, and writing an essay on the roles of men and women in both eras (1920s and Elizabethan).

Joyce was the glue of our project. She manned the whole project, carefully planning out due dates and figuring out the best time to start and finish recording. She also took minor, if not major, parts in many roles, including drawing attire from the Elizabethan era and the 1920s, helping to choose the soundtrack, and recording the introduction to our project. She had to balance work from both OCAD and TotS throughout break, in which we are all very proud of. Joyce also single-handedly wrote the script, edited the project and all of the footage, made a short trailer, and uploaded all of these to youtube or an online viewing site for us to see. Plus, it should definitely be noted that her internet is extremely slow, and uploading the bloopers took no less than 900 minutes.

Thanks for all of your dedication, Joyce!!
